Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect any personal data you share with us through this website, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.
Last updated: 18 August 2026
This privacy policy explains how AI Lead Generation UK("we", "us", "our") handles personal data collected through the website at aileadgeneration.uk. We are the data controller for that information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Who we are and how to contact us
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@aijamesdooley.co.uk. We respond to data-protection enquiries by email.
What data we collect
This is a largely static website. We do not run accounts, logins or a shop, so we only collect personal data when you choose to give it to us. When you complete our enquiry form we collect the information you enter, which is:
- your full name;
- your work email address;
- your company name, if you provide it (optional);
- your phone number, if you provide it (optional);
- the details of your enquiry, including what you need and a description of your ideal customer; and
- the page you enquired from, so we can respond with the right context.
Our enquiry form includes a hidden anti-spam field. If it is completed, which only automated bots tend to do, the submission is discarded. We do not knowingly collect special category data, and we ask that you do not include sensitive personal information in your message.
How and why we use your data, and our lawful basis
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, to prepare and discuss a proposed lead generation plan, and to provide the services you ask us about. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are:
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): to respond to a business enquiry you have chosen to send us and to correspond with you about our services. We consider this a limited and reasonably expected use of your data that does not override your rights.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): where we rely on your consent for any optional communications, such as marketing. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
- Contract (Article 6(1)(b)): where you go on to become a client, to take steps at your request and to perform our agreement with you.
We do not send marketing emails to enquirers without an appropriate lawful basis under PECR, and any marketing we do send will include a clear way to opt out.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data only for as long as we need it. If your enquiry does not lead to us working together, we will retain your details for no longer than 12 monthsand then delete them. If you become a client, we keep relevant records for the duration of our engagement and for as long afterwards as we are required to for legal, accounting or regulatory reasons.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us run our business and who process data on our behalf under a written agreement, for example our website hosting provider and the tools we use to receive and manage enquiries. These providers are:
- Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts and serves this website; and
- the email provider we use to receive and respond to your enquiry.
We may also disclose your data where we are required to by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where any provider processes data outside the UK, we will make sure an appropriate safeguard, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision, is in place.
Cookies and analytics
This website is largely static and is built to keep tracking to a minimum. We do not set non-essential or advertising cookies without your consent. Any strictly necessary cookies used to make the site work do not require consent under PECR. If we introduce analytics or any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. At present this website uses no analytics and sets no non-essential or advertising cookies.
How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your data secure, including serving the website over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and limiting who can access enquiry data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- be informed about how we use your data (this policy);
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to erase your data in certain circumstances;
- ask us to restrict or object to our processing of your data;
- data portability, where it applies; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us athello@aijamesdooley.co.uk. We will respond within one month. You do not have to pay a fee, and we will not usually charge one.
Complaints
We would ask you to raise any concern with us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
